I decided to start personal training because I needed a plan for the gym and wanted to become more comfortable using weights and machines. I’ve always liked the idea of strength training, but trying to navigate it on my own felt confusing. Which exercises? How many reps and sets? How much rest? When do I move up in weight? I have been working with Shane for 6 months. Working with Shane completely changed how I approach fitness. When I started, I was really not in shape, I was down about my looks and how I felt about myself. When I showed up he motivated me to just keep going and to keep working at it.
