Shane Menzie is a personal trainer with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and over two years of hands-on coaching experience helping beginner and intermediate lifters build strength, improve body composition, and stay consistent long-term.
His coaching approach comes from personal experience. Shane started his own fitness journey as a burnt-out, overweight athlete with a poor relationship with food, training, and body image. Through structured strength training and evidence-based habits, he transformed not only his physique and performance, but also his mindset—developing a more sustainable, balanced approach to fitness that actually lasts.
Shane graduated from SUNY Brockport in 2025, where he worked with both general population clients and athletes while serving as a strength coaching intern. This experience built a strong foundation in program design, movement quality, and behavior-based coaching, reinforcing a simple principle: real results come from consistency, not extremes.
His coaching focuses on barbell and free-weight strength training paired with sustainable fat loss strategies. Every program is built around progressive overload, proper movement, and realistic habits that fit into a client’s lifestyle—so progress doesn’t rely on motivation alone.
Shane primarily works with beginner and intermediate lifters who want to get stronger, improve their physique, and finally stay consistent without crash diets or burnout. Clients come to him for structure and accountability—and stay because the process becomes sustainable.
Looking ahead, Shane plans to compete in strongman and powerlifting, continuing to push his own performance while helping clients do the same in a controlled, structured way.
Results don’t come from doing everything perfectly. They come from showing up consistently and trusting the process.
